It's vesak day, which is a public holiday, and I feel bad for not knowing what vesak day is supposed to be. Being culturally removed is sad sometimes. Three days to our school's overseas community involvement thing. My class is going to China for about a week, mixed emotions about it. Excited about being overseas (finally), haven't gone overseas in ages, if we don't count Malaysia. Annoyed about itinerary being almost entirely helping the Children (nearly nothing else if you don't count climbing the mountain to GET to their school). Embarrassed about being sad about this.
